A first person account

Inside Success

I worked with Inside Success TV to get attention for my story and my businesses. This page is what that process actually did to me.

Why this page exists

I am publishing this so people searching for Inside Success, Inside Success TV, or Operation CEO can read one clear account from someone who went through it. This is my experience and my opinion. It is not a court ruling. I am not a lawyer.

I thought I had earned something. I thought I was worthy of the next step. I later had to accept that I had been treated as a money pipeline. The shame that brought onto my family and friends is real. I do not want the next person walking into the same process blind.

What I thought I was joining

Inside Success TV markets itself as a business media network. Operation CEO is presented as a series for military veterans who served and then built companies. The pitch is selection. You apply. You get vetted. You get interviews. You advance because your story is strong enough.

That framing matters. It makes a person feel chosen. It makes a family feel proud. It makes the work that follows feel like honor instead of a sale.

The work they put me through

This was not a short form. After I engaged with Inside Success, I was pulled into a long production pipeline.

I completed onboarding. I filled out forms. I tracked attendance. I logged into their cast portal. I reviewed a welcome packet and a production plan. I worked through interview questions. I was asked to plan travel to their Miami studio. I was asked for B-roll. I was asked to involve family and friends in interviews. I drafted social posts and waited on approval. I treated the deadlines like they meant I had been selected for something rare.

All of that labor has a cost. Time. Focus. Hope. The people closest to me were pulled into it with me. That is part of the damage.

The first warning sign

The first hard warning was not a blog post. It was a card decline.

When payment was attempted on my wife's credit card, the card company declined it and treated the merchant as a fraud risk. That is the moment the story stopped feeling like an honor and started feeling like a warning I should have heard sooner.

A processor flag is not the same thing as a criminal conviction. I am not claiming a court has ruled on this company. I am saying what happened in my house. A bank looked at this merchant and would not let the charge go through.

What I learned about the marketing

After that decline I started reading more carefully. The public marketing still sounds like a selective casting process. Apply. Get reviewed. Only some people move on. The next interviews are framed as a prize.

What I came to believe is simpler and harder. The process is built to make you feel chosen. The urgency is built to make you decide fast. The product, as I experienced it, is paid placement. If you pay, you are in.

That is the lie that hurt. Not that a company sells media packages. Plenty of companies do. The hurt is being told you were vetted into something earned when the real filter was whether you would buy.

Inside Success TV has published its own pages saying it is a paid production package and not traditional editorial TV. I wish that sentence had been the first sentence, not the last one a person finds after the hope is already spent.

Operation CEO and stolen valor

I take stolen valor seriously. Operation CEO is sold as a veterans only series. It honors people who served. I am not a military veteran. They still placed me in Operation CEO.

That is not a small branding choice to me. It uses the honor of real service to sell a seat. It puts a non veteran inside a frame built for veterans. When the truth of the company and the process came into the light, that placement became another layer of shame I had to carry in front of people I love.

The shame and the damage

I told people I had been selected. I let family and friends believe this was recognition. Then I had to walk that back. I had to accept the position I had put myself in, and the position I had put them in.

That is humiliating. It is also lonely. You do the work. You spend the hope. You ask people to be proud of you. Then you find out you were not chosen. You were billed.

I thought I was worthy. I thought I had earned something. I was a payment. Now I sit with the damage of that. I am writing this because the process should be truthful. A company that believes in its process should not need to dress a sale up as a selection.

These are unethical, immoral, and misleading business practices as I lived them. I want them to stop hurting the next person the same way.

If this happened to you

If Inside Success, Inside Success TV, or Operation CEO did this to you, you are not crazy and you are not alone. We can work together to heal after what this company has done to us.

The best way to reach me is my X account, @DOSHostNet. That handle is also on this website in the footer. Message me there.

I am not offering legal advice. I am offering a hand. If you are in the middle of the same pipeline, pause. Read the contract as a purchase, not as a prize. Ask what is guaranteed in writing. Ask who actually gets in. Ask whether Operation CEO is only for veterans. Then decide with your eyes open.
